10-15 yrs. experience as a QE in a metal fabrication/welding manufacturing business required
Associates in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience required
A Bachelor of Science Engineering preferred
Demonstrated experience in working within a formal quality system required
Functional experience with RCCA/A3/8D/etc. methodologies to achieve continuous improvement
Experience developing preventative quality processes within a lean mfg. environment
Strong sense of curiosity with a proactive entrepreneurial mindset
Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Power BI experience would be considered a plus
Strong communication skills from the shop floor to upper management
Ability to work in noisy environments with hearing protection
ERP system experience preferred
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all time
Ability to work in both a manufacturing office and shop floor environment daily
Wear all required PPE including: steel toed shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
