Occupational Therapist (OTR)

Valid Occupational Therapist license (OTR) in Colorado

Per session payment of $110 per initial visit (60 min) and $70 per follow-up visit (30 min)

Additional $35 payment for 90833 coding

Direct deposit every two weeks with no need to worry about unpaid claims

No-show protection: Rula pays you 100% of your time even when the patient no-shows, cancels late, or the claim is denied

Initial Evaluation (60 min): $110 per completed session

Follow-up Visit (30 min): $70 per completed session

Additional compensation (+$35) available for eligible follow-up sessions when medically necessary add-on psychotherapy (CPT 90833) is delivered and documented in accordance with clinical guidelines and CMS billing standards.

Rula Mental Health takes care of all the credentialing, billing, and marketing

This includes setting up your Rula profile and educating you on our guidelines and HIPAA-compliant EHR system.

Further, we have a dedicated Support team so you and your patients have the help you need when you need it.

We are fully compliant with HIPAA and have a Medical Records team to handle all releases, audits, or record requests.

Our Care Coordination team manages Higher Level of Care requests for your patients.

As an independent contractor, the amount of time you allocate to working with Rula is entirely up to you!

Half-hour sessions for follow-up visits and 1 hour for initial consultations

You set your own schedule and determine how many patients you would like to see. You can adjust this at any time.

PMHNP

This opportunity is only open to Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who hold an active, unrestricted license to practice in the state of California

An unrestricted license

Valid DEA number registered in California

1+ years as a psychiatric nurse practitioner with experience with mental health assessment, diagnosis, triage, managing common psychiatric medication and treatment plans, and managing crisis situations

Independent licensure and/or working with collaborating MD, as required by state law

Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Registration with state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP)

No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)

No adverse actions by any nursing board, hospital or other credentialing body in the past 3 years

A master's or doctoral degree from an accredited university or graduate program in psychiatric mental health nursing

The ability to provide telehealth

1+ years of post-licensure clinical experience as a PMHNP actively managing psychiatric patient panels. Experience must include high-volume/high-acuity assessment, complex psychopharmacology management, direct crisis stabilization, and independent diagnostic decision-making. (Note: RN experience and student clinical rotation hours do not count toward this requirement.)

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing from an accredited institution.

Active national board certification as a PMHNP through either the ANCC (PMHNP-BC) or AANPCB (PMHNP-C)

Active state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) registration

Compliance with state collaborative agreement requirements (where applicable).

No adverse actions, disciplinary history, or license restrictions with any state nursing board, hospital, or credentialing body in the past 3 to 5 years.

No suspension, exclusion, or debarment from federal healthcare programs (Medicare/Medicaid)

Proficient delivering outpatient care via telehealth (including EMR navigation, virtual rapport building, and remote crisis management)
