Perform first article verification if process requires it
Operate 3+ required machines simultaneously
Paid for 8 on 3rd shift
Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations
Set up standard product within a machine subgroup
Operate automation equipment and provide minor troubleshooting within work area as assigned
Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties
Perform complex troubleshooting and correct operating difficulties
Provide assistance to team members as needed to minimize operator downtime
Detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader
Observe standard processes to make recommendations to the team leader or supervisor for improving efficiencies, safety, or morale within the work center
Review calibration of all measuring equipment
Enter machine parameter: speeds and feed rates
Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work
Grind Machine Setups
Train new hires as assigned
Maintain required records
Replace worn tooling and adjust machines as needed
Sign on bonus eligible, dependent on experience and skill level
