The expected base pay range for this position is:

California $33.45 - $40.47

Illinois $30.41 - $37.06

New York $33.45 - $40.47

Washington $31.93 - $38.76

Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week

Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws as evidenced by 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients/customers per season for compensation, using commercial tax preparation software.

Minimum of 3 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with a minimum of 30 tax returns per tax year required, in a tax practice or retail setting, for compensation

General knowledge/understanding of bookkeeping required. Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is highly desired and/or willingness to upskill and become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Experience preparing Business Tax returns and providing year-round tax prep guidance for small businesses in particular is highly desired.

Must possess or be able to obtain any related state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Familiarity with Circular 230

Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand

Must reside within the United States.

Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus

General knowledge/understanding of bookkeeping required. Bookkeeping experience with books to tax preparation is highly desired and/or willingness to upskill and become a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing

Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies

Must be willing to wear a TurboTax Uniform

Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

High school education or equivalent

English fluency and able to communicate with others effectively

Basic understanding of how to use non powered hand tools

Basic computer skills; ability to learn/use new programs, i.e. printer or camera software

Well organized with a high level of attention to detail

Must be able to follow instructions, take notes, and work independently

Can adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for placement of parts

Proficient in using standard measuring devices such as tape measures, scales, squares, etc.

Able to identify and safely operate standard hand, power and air tools
