Hold a 14 CFR § 65 Mechanic Certificate or meet requirements to obtain 14 CFR § 65 Repairman certificate
Minimum of 2 years performing inspections and tests of civil aviation components (preferred) or 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, preferably in a 14 CFR § 145 Repair Station
Ability to read, write and understand English fluently
Thoroughly familiar with applicable FAA and EASA regulations
Proficient in the use of the various inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools appropriate for the work being performed and approved for return to service
Ability to read and interpret component maintenance manuals, overhaul manuals, structural repair manuals engineering and other technical documents
Ability to calculate tolerances using specialty / calibrated measuring devices
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
