2nd Shift Assembly Finisher
Hours: Monday through Friday, Start 2p, End 10:30p to 12:30a, Occasional 5 hour Saturdays 4:30a to 9:30a
Pay: $24.25
Sign-on Bonus: $3,000
Perform a wide variety of grinding, finishing and fabrication/assembly operations to meet production requirements
Tack or patch weld as required
Maintain grinding and finishing equipment and work area for a safe and efficient operation
Perform own material handling, and follow good housekeeping and safety practices
Advise supervisor of continuing difficulties and take corrective action as directed
Assist others as directed
Provide own basic tools to efficiently perform job

2-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly in a physical manufacturing environment and equipment operations.
Successfully complete all training required for certification in the Grid Line Operations within 2 months
Operate torch for solder repair.
Read and use measuring equipment.
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 41-lbs unassisted, ability to maneuver fixtured evaporators up to 100-lbs unassisted, comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented environment, ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Steel toed shoes are required on the production floor.

Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred)
Valid driver's license
The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years
CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review
Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education), the ability to pass a drug screen and physical as required by the Department of Transportation
