Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: At least 1 year experience in electronic assembly involving soldering through hole and surface mount parts, or related field is required.
Soldering certification in both surface mount and through hole preferred.
Soldering experience not required - WILL TRAIN
Strong leadership skills and experience preferred.
Ability to read engineering blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
Demonstrated soldering skills, including through hole and surface mount.
Ability to perform self-inspection of work visually and using microscope.
Working knowledge of microscopes, oscilloscopes, and miscellaneous test equipment.
The employee must be able to touch/feel and be able to work with very small parts.
The employee must be able to read and interpret manufacturing documentation and correspondence and the ability to write simple correspondence is required.
The ability to read and interpret engineering documentation is required.
The employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to assemble our products.
The employee can be required to occasionally lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds approximately 5% of the time.
Specific vision abilities required by the position include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
