High School Diploma or GED.
Five (5) or more years previous experience as a machinist.
Basic reading skills.
Basic computer navigation and utilization skills.
Advanced measurement skills (mics, calipers, indicators, etc.).
Advanced knowledge of feeds and speeds.
Complex blue print reading skills.
Be able to do shop mathematics including trigonometry.
Understand basic GD&T; call-outs.
Must have CNC programming knowledge.
Must be able to read and understand specifications and prints.
Must be able to read a scale, caliper, O.D. and I.D. micrometers, depth micrometer, bore gauges, go-no-go gauges, thread gauges, pin gauges, plug gauges, depth gauges, and dial indicators.
Must be able to use general math, record and post earnings on a daily basis.
Average hand dexterity is required.
Required lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Maximum weight lifted - infrequent basis 50 lbs.
Maximum weight lifted - repetitive basis 10 lbs.
