Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Licensure in the state in which providing therapy (NC/SC)
CPR certification.
Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license and an operational vehicle.
Requires significant locomotion, frequent lifting greater than 50 lbs and transferring patients greater than 100 lbs.
Exposure to Hazards: Noise, congestion, communicable disease, exposure to blood borne pathogens, patient assault, and injury resulting from improper body mechanics, uncooperative patients, families, and community hazards.
