Experience participating in DFMEA/PFMEA events

Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (Examples such as: Laser welding, transfer molding, assembly techniques, CNC machining)

Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools (CMM, caliper, micrometer, gauges)

Familiarity with CAD modeling, tooling design, and 3D printing

Undergraduate degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or related field

3+ years manufacturing or design experience

A strong understanding of quality systems and other process improvement tools

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred exposure to Product Development Life Cycle (PLDC) of a manufactured product from concept to launch

Preferred exposure to Engineering Change Management

Preferred experience with Solidworks and Oracle ERP software

Experience with electric motors or precision rotating equipment preferred

Experience with QS and ISO requirements is preferred

The incumbent has to be a US citizen only

B.S. Electrical Engineering or equivalent required

5 or more years of experience in design and manufacturing environment is required

5 or more years of experience in electric machine design is required

Experience with DC or AC motors including control, testing, specifications and applications is required

Experience with a finite element and/or parameterized motor design software is required

Ability to read and create electrical schematics and readily use component data sheets is required

Hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical test equipment such as signal generators, DVM, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, tension/torsion testers, thermal chambers and vibration monitoring is required

Experience troubleshooting electronics or electrical assemblies is required
