Shift: 10 Hours - Evening Shifts

Weekly Hours: 35.00

Bachelor's degree in laboratory or biological sciences required.

Associates degree in Laboratory Science required.

Bachelor's degree in biology or other related field that includes 30 combined semester hours of biological science and chemistry required.

Maintain continuing education credits equivalent to the state requirements as needed for license and certifications.

May be required to have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

An accepted offer will require a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as a condition of employment.

Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.

Possess a national certification for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) through an approved Health and Human Services (HHS) agency, for example American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP); or be registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates must successfully complete the Board of Registry examination within 12 months of employment.

Demonstrated lab experience, including but not limited to college laboratory experience preferred.

Includes six weeks of paid training.

On-Call

8 or 10 hour shifts available (am/mid-afternoon/night) per applicants availability.

No weekends required.

Weekend shifts are available if extra hours are desired.

High School Diploma or equivalent

0 – 1 year of related experience.

Ability to work in an upright and /or stationary position for 6-8 hours per day.

Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists to operate lab equipment.

Occasional crouching, stooping, with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

Regular and consistent attendance.

Varied hours may be required.

EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA or CNA certification, preferred

$25.66/hr.-$33.00/hr.

High School diploma or equivalent with minimum of three (3) years of experience as a mechanical/electrical technician --OR -- Bachelor's degree in a technical related field (ex. Automotive, Manufacturing, Design, Agriculture.) and minimum two (2) years' experience in related role.

Experience with data acquisition devices required, e.g. LabVIEW, SoMat, etc.

Proficiency in MS Office Applications is required.

Understanding of 12V, 24V, and 110V electrical systems.

A valid diver's license

The ability to travel to test fields and inspect machinery, etc. in construction site situations.

CIPP, electric, hydraulic and or pneumatic experience a plus.

Basic machining and welding aptitude a plus.

Training or certification in CIPP, electronics, hydraulics, as a mechanic or other field technician a plus.
