Proven experience in land surveying, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, as-built, and construction layout surveys.
Strong proficiency in operating survey instruments such as GPS units, total stations, data collectors, and robotic instruments.
Hands-on experience with topographic surveys and construction-related surveying activities.
Ability to accurately collect, verify, and document field survey data and maintain detailed field notes.
Knowledge of land surveying principles, practices, and standards applicable to civil and construction projects.
Experience working with total stations and related equipment, including systems such as Leica.
Strong organizational skills to coordinate daily field activities, schedules, and site logistics.
Effective communication skills to interact with Project Managers, clients, contractors, and field crew members.
Commitment to enforcing and following safety procedures on jobsites.
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related civil discipline.
Experience in construction environments and familiarity with construction layout requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on survey equipment.
Capability to manage multiple field tasks and adapt to changing project needs.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Ability to work independently while providing leadership and guidance to crew members.
