High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
Must have obtained minimum of 12 months CNC Lathe experience in a production environment including NC programming, program editing, set up, troubleshooting and run
Demonstrate proficiency upon completion of up to 30 working day trial training and evaluation period (may be ongoing until achievement is met).
Must possess G-Code knowledge including the ability to understand machine commands, sub program usage, edge break calculations, and general editing.
Must be proficient with operating a workstation computer including searching, saving and editing files.
Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions
Ability to work for long periods of time in a standing position.
Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring sitting and walking.
Ability to occasionally work in positions requiring twisting, stooping and grasping.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs. without the use of mechanical lifting devices or help from others.
Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as: eye protection and foot protection.
