Must be able to read blueprints, use production hand tools, such as wrenches, cutting shears and screwdrivers, and precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, verniers, optical comparators, durometer testers and loupes.
Must have a working knowledge of production punch presses, as well as inspection and quality control procedures.
Knowledge of machines, tools, production processes, and quality control.
Knowledge of basic math (i.e. compute square footage), the ability to read, understand, and complete production paperwork.

Performing dimensional inspection requires close visual attention.
Must be able to effectively present information clearly and respond effectively to questions.
Organization Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
Constant mental/visual attention involving close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus throughout the day.
Frequent (34-66%) pushing, moving, lifting material weighing up to 80 pounds.
Position requires manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination. Work is not sedentary.
