Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written
The Infant and Toddler Primary Caregiver must be qualified as an Infant Program Supervisor, a registered nurse, or at the very least, an Infant Program Early Childhood Teacher
Must be at least 19 years of age
Must complete health evaluation signed by medical professional
Must be able to communicate clearly in English, both verbal and written
Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to maintain a calm demeanor under stressful situations
Ability to work cooperatively with a teaching team to create a safe and cognitively stimulating environment
An adult who holds a current Early Childhood Professional credential level III version 2.0
Flexibility to care for children of all ages birth-5 years
Ability to adhere to all health and safety policies and program policies and procedures
Must demonstrate an interest in young children and a concern for their proper care and well-being
Ability to provide positive guidance and redirection to all children, at all times
Knowledge of infant and toddler development and willingness to stay up to date with current best practices
Knowledge of infant and toddler growth and development
Ability to maintain professional communication with parents, supervisors, co-teachers, and assistants
Reliable attendance required
The SCCC requires staff to have a medical professional sign off that they are mentally and physically competent and it is appropriate for them to work with children
Must successfully complete background & fingerprint check
This position is in Colorado, and the work is primarily in Steamboat Springs, CO
