High school diploma or equivalent required.
5 years' previous maintenance machine repair experience required; with experience in Food and Beverage industry or Journeyman, Apprentice Certification preferred.
Basic electrical circuitry knowledge
Must be able to work overtime as needed including change at the start and end of shift times and weekends (including the last week of the calendar year to perform maintenance on production lines).
Required to be forklift certified by Krier Foods, Inc. before operating any company-owned forklift.
Must attain Food Safety Training (Qualified Individual)
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, kneeling, and climbing) approximately 85% of the day and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required to fully comply with Quality Management System Policies and Procedures and Food Safety Management requirements.
Ability to understand and follow blueprints manufacturers documentation and manuals.
Experience using CMMS programs.
Ability to weld (TIG/MIG) and fabricate
Must be able to work in various conditions with exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust and fumes.
Must be forklift certified by Krier Foods, Inc. before operating any company-owned forklift.
