Participating in Quality Assurance, Quality control monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
Performing high complexity testing on patient specimens using both manual methods and automated analyzers in all the sections of the laboratory.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field and 3 years of related experience.
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following:
Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
Executing and analyzing tests in areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Urinalysis, Molecular Testing and Blood banking.
Must possess certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP), Medical Technologist (ASCP), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (NCA).
Performing specimen collection, identification process and procedures to facilitate simple to complex diagnostic tests.
