Direct supervision of production employees
Knowledgeable in finished goods product assembly processes, product standards and specifications of raw materials
Read and interpret sketches, drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and work orders in planning and laying out work
Responsible for the direct supervision of all production employees and meeting all manufacturing, quality, and delivery requirements
Managing the material requirement for the production floor (raw materials, MRO, supplies, etc.)
Identification of inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and downtime issues, ultimately leading to improvement proposals and implementation of solutions
Utilize root cause analysis to implement corrective actions
Provide manufacturing process support services to existing plant activities as well as new projects and development activities

Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience
Must be a self-starter, willing to make sound decisions and initiate action without prior counseling or direction
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and employees
Previous experience of leading a department of at least 10+ employees
Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
Ability to read and interpret sketches, drawings, technical manuals, specifications, and work orders
