Washing dishes and pans
Clean and sanitize
Follows all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
Ability to assist the Chef in preparations for the daily meals
Ability to determine food and supplies needed and coordinate meal production with serving hours
Ability to prepare all special dietary need as directed by the menus
Ability to monitor all food items to see that at least the minimum guidelines for temperature, taste, and quality are always upheld
Ability to ensure proper preparation, portioning, and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and standardized recipes
Ability to taste and prepare food to determine quality
Ability to maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
Ability to assist with orientation and training of new kitchen employees
Ability to practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
Ability to attend all in-services as required
Ability to follow all local, state, and federal policies regarding food handling
Ability to assist with proper documentation of temperature logs, taste panel forms, and cleaning schedules
Overtime may be required
Schedule will be 11am-7pm
Weekly weekends could be included
