Electronics troubleshooting skills employing voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and soldering skills
Mechanical aptitude with working under a microscope
Physical capability to lift 25 lbs.
Sit on floor to do repairs
Work between systems in tight areas
Able to manipulate and assemble small mechanical assemblies
Troubleshoot complex electronic/firmware/software/mechanical issues in PIC burn-in systems
Interface with other departments to support problem resolution and training
General lab maintenance - keeping the area neat and clean
Ensure that preventative-maintenance procedures are followed
Work with vendors to develop, qualify, and release new burn-in systems for next-generation PICs
Education & Experience Necessary For Success: Associate's degree in electronics and 2+ yrs of experience
