Perform the same task repeatedly.
Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Wabtec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this opening.
Hand tools.
Employee is always required to wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses.
Requires the employee to be on-site during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color distinction, and observe small handwriting, labels, and components.
Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol.
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
Requires daily face-to-face interaction and communication with employees on the production line and management.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Specialized equipment used in this job.
Knowledge of basic mechanics.
Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable) and fitness for duty test (as applicable).
Employee is required to wear hearing protection in designated areas.
Stand and/or walk for 6 hours at a time, with minimal breaks.
High school degree or equivalent.
