CLEAN background history to acquire a Government clearance in a timely manner
Minimum of 5 years of electrical system experience at commercial, industrial, or government facilities
Training and/or certification equal to an electrical journeyman level to include control wiring, VFD's (to include programming), fire alarm systems, security systems, maintenance of secondary power transformers, and testing of wiring and electrical equipment
Experience at a Government facility is a plus but not required
High school diploma or equivalent
This position requires candidates to be fit tested for a respirator
US Citizenship is required

Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, basic steam plant and combustion turbine knowledge
Technical trades training (trade or military), such as electrical certifications or similar certifications
This position may be required to work overtime to support vacations, plant outages, emergency work, etc.
Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, talk, hear and use hands.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Mechanical and electrical aptitude, including working with switching up to 480 volts
Experience with analytical troubleshooting techniques and root cause failure analysis
Ability to climb ladders, reach with hands and arms to climb and balance

Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Ability to read, write and interpret the English language and technical directions
