Three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Reasonable understanding of hydraulic devices and functions including check balls and springs, sealing surfaces, pressure valves, flow characteristics, flow distribution, drag, effects of air on performance and conformance to specification, cavitation, high and low pressure circuits, seals, etc.
Ability to read and translate hydraulic and electrical diagrams schematics.
Ability to work successfully within a team environment, willing to contribute to team problem solving activities such as Six Sigma or Kaizen.
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulic systems.
