Strong experience reading architectural and structural plans
Proven ability to perform accurate lumber takeoffs and labor estimating
Experience with On-Screen Takeoff or similar estimating software
On-site in Fremont, CA
Working knowledge of board footage, BF/HR, framing assemblies, and commercial construction documents
5+ years of estimating experience in commercial framing, structural carpentry, or a closely related construction scope
Local candidates strongly preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
