Complex assemblies, Large Mill Turn Parts
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Report via operating systems for Customer and Verify while communicating any non-conformance while providing reject or rework disposition.
Perform a wide variety of conventional/traditional inspection operations utilizing various inspection techniques
Candidate should be computer savvy and MUST be willing to use personal laptop to complete inspection reporting via SPP (Supplier Performance Platform)
Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance to the AS9102 standard and knowledge is required, including complete review of technical data package for full traceability of documents.
Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver
Inspect Certificates of Conformance from material, external suppliers, and other service providers to ensure these items conform to customers purchase order requirements and specifications
Candidate must possess at least 5 years' experience with:
Possess soft skills to clearly communicate non-conformances internally and externally
Must be willing to work in fast paced manufacturing environment and possess all PPE required per suppliers safety requirements.
Inspection of tight tolerances
Special Processes
Validate all product and paperwork compliant to including but not limited to: engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), industry standards, and specifications.
The quality inspector shall support on-site to perform documentation, visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
Must be willing to utilize personal cell phone
J-STD 001 Soldering inspections
Experience using various inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers.
Experience with both mechanical and electronic inspections (PWB,PWA)
