High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical training, trade school, or vocational certification in mechanics, diesel technology, industrial maintenance, welding, or a related field preferred
Typically 3–8 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance or repair experience in oil and gas, compression, industrial, agricultural, heavy equipment, trucking, or related field environments
Oil and gas field experience strongly preferred
Experience troubleshooting rotating equipment, gas compressors, engines, pumps, and related production equipment preferred
Experience working independently at remote field locations is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Working knowledge of gas compression equipment and oil and gas field maintenance practices
Ability to safely use common hand tools, power tools, diagnostic tools, lifting equipment, and maintenance equipment
Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, work instructions, schematics, and operating procedures
Basic computer and mobile-device skills for email, work orders, maintenance tracking, and communication
Valid driver's license required; valid DOT medical card to drive a DOT registered truck
