Master's or doctorate in a specialty field required.
If applicable, certification(s) in area(s) of specialization is required.
Four or more years of full-time documented teaching experience in a University setting which could include one or more years of teaching for West Coast University. Instructional experience must be at institutions which are regionally accredited. OR Six or more years (either adjunct, full or part-time) teaching in a University (or College) setting.
Program Specific Requirements: Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards and accreditation bodies.
Ability to teach across multiple disciplines, including Anatomy, Physiology, Pathophysiology, Microbiology, Inorganic Chemistry, and GOB Chemistry.
Working with online learning management systems to further engage the student learning process is desirable.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products, especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and other MS office products as needed.
Must provide a documented background in educational methodology consistent with teaching assignments including but not limited to education theory and practice, or current concepts relative to specific subjects he or she will be teaching, or current clinical practice experience, or distance education techniques and delivery.

Current active California license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN).
Overseeing the clinical instructor team within the Vocational Nursing Program to ensure high-quality clinical education and compliance with program standards.
Responsible for hiring, onboarding and training clinical faculty, conducting site visits and observations, and supporting clinical instruction operations across assigned sites.
Knowledge of state, federal and local laws/regulations relating to programs, governmental compliance and other regulatory standards such as BVNPT.
Must meet one of the following:
2 years nursing experience as a RN or LVN within the last 5 years.
6 years nursing experience as LVN and RN combined or 6 years of either.
