Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, specifications and governmental regulations.
Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and peers.
Strong understanding of product failure modes and excellent, proven problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD.

Established work experience in an engineered product environment, preferably rotating equipment, with proven skills and experience in performing Rotordynamics Analysis (RDA).
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, structural and fluid dynamics, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
Proficiency with MS Office and Windows operating systems is expected.
Ability to read drawings and prepare graphs, tables, and text for final reports and to write procedure manuals.
Strong understanding and engineering principles and design practices.
