- Checks and adds grit or sand to maintain a sufficient amount of grit and sand in hoppers
- Puts protective equipment on before starting cleaning operation
- Manually operates high pressure nozzle in cleaning specified areas
- Checks cleaned surfaces, reblast for specified finish
- Uses portable grinder to remove surface defects, also chips, grinds and deburrs on rough and finished material
