Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Proficiency in SolidWorks 3-D design software or equivalent and experience performing Finite Element Analysis
Able to apply engineering principles to develop component and simple system designs to meet specifications
Able to develop an accurate project plan
Effective written and verbal communication
Must understand fundamental manufacturing processes for wrought and cast, gray and ductile iron, steel, stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, and plastics
Work Arrangement : Onsite
Travel: Limited travel required
Physical Requirements: Strength to lift or carry up to twenty-five (25) pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screen, and ability to hear and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone
The work is predominantly sedentary and requires minimal or negligible physical exertion
