5+ years of machining or toolmaking experience preferred
Strong experience with manual machining equipment
Ability to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions
Experience working with various metals (stainless, copper, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Set up and operate manual machines including lathe, mill, and grinder
Machine and fabricate precision parts from prints, sketches, or verbal direction
Build and modify tooling to support production and R&D; needs
Perform bench work and hand finishing as needed
Work with tight tolerances and high-quality standards
Support custom, one-off, and prototype work - not repetitive production
Maintain equipment and keep work area clean and organized
