Minimum one (1) year of TIG and MIG welding experience.
Knowledge of-or ability to be trained on-pneumatic and hydrostatic testing equipment.
Proficient in the use of fillet, groove, and multi-purpose weld gauges.
Understanding of general shop safety practices and housekeeping standards.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, ASME codes, and weld symbols.
Ability to wear required PPE for the duration of the shift.
Good manual dexterity, good eye/hand coordination.
Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, required.
Capable of wearing PPE for an entire shift, including; safety glasses, hearing protection and safety shoes.
Frequent light lifting, raising objects under 15 pounds from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from one position to another.
Frequent moderate lifting of objects 15 to 45 pounds.
Adherence to all established safety rules, procedures, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
