3+ years of experience with both acoustics and signal processing, including a thorough understanding of acoustic measurement systems, in-water measurement arrays, the interfacing of hardware and the development of software
Hands-on knowledge of all factors that must be taken into consideration for in-water acoustics, e.g., distance, sound speed in the water, sound velocity profile, absorption, spreading loss, and receive/projection patterns of hydrophones and sources
Must be a US Citizen
Be willing and able to obtain a Secret security clearance
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
