Grinder Operator
Operate grinder machines during the scheduled shift from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, following all established operating procedures and production instructions for each work order
Set up and adjust grinding equipment as required, ensuring parts are properly aligned, secured, and processed according to specified dimensions and tolerances
Monitor machine operation and production flow continuously, checking workpieces frequently to confirm they meet quality control requirements and documented standards
Inspect finished and in-process parts visually and with basic measuring tools, identifying defects, irregularities, or deviations and reporting them promptly to supervision
Maintain a clean and orderly work area around the grinder, removing debris, organizing tools, and following housekeeping guidelines to support a safe working environment
Follow all safety policies for machine operation, including lockout procedures, use of guards, and wearing required personal protective equipment throughout the shift
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, potential issues, and any machine concerns that could affect quality or throughput
Demonstrated experience working as a Grinder Operator or with grinder equipment, showing the ability to run machines safely while meeting production and quality expectations consistently
