Operate CNC mills and lathes, and other machines including 4th and 5th axis', to produce components to specified dimensions and characteristics according to quality standards.
Operate 2 required CNC machines to produce a diversified range of parts on short or long run work, and exacting finish specifications.
Follow established procedures, verbal instructions, and information obtained from set-up cards and layout sheets (certified process or engineered cycles) to ensure parts are manufactured as ordered.
Inprocess readings to ensure adherence to tolerance.
Use micrometers, verniers, optical comparator, microscope, and a variety of fixed and adjustable gauges to set-up equipment and check work.
Diagnose and correct operating difficulties, maintain required records, detect and report unusual conditions to assigned leader.
Keep work area clean and orderly, observing all safety rules and regulations, and conforming to OSHA regulations.
Move materials, parts, and containers, as required, to complete job duties.

Previous CNC machining, setup, grinding, manufacturing, toolmaking, or precision assembly experience preferred
Experience working with tight tolerances and quality standards
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience with calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, or similar inspection tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform detailed inspection and measurement work
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
