Typically requires an associate's degree and six or more years of progressive professional experience in a related technical field. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Must have a thorough technical understanding of production and assembly concepts and practices, with the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads and staff to meet established milestones.
Must be customer-focused and possess: The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop innovative solutions to a variety of moderately complex matters of diverse scope and nature.
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings to a variety of audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide all levels of employees and external representatives.
The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
The ability to represent the company on external projects and strong computer skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance is required.

Works in a manufacturing environment and will be required to wear hearing, foot, and/or other personal protective equipment while performing duties in a manufacturing setting
May, on a continuous basis, stand for a long period of time and stoop, bend, and kneel frequently
May handle, feel and reach for items in and around work area and continuously grasp product from a conveyor for up to 10 hours
Moderate to frequent walking and lifting and/or moving up to 40 lbs. repetitively is required
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close & distance vision, ability to adjust focus, and ability to distinguish color variations, peripheral, and depth perception
The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to loud
Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed
