Certificate or diploma from a trade school is preferred
Proven experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC mills and lathes, in a production or manufacturing environment with documented responsibilities
Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
Proficiency with precision measurement tools, specifically calipers
Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills
Attention to detail and a results-driven approach
Perform routine maintenance and daily checks on CNC equipment
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings to determine machining requirements, tolerances, and sequence of operations for each job
Load raw materials and parts onto CNC machines, ensuring correct positioning, clamping, and alignment
Prepare and operate CNC machines by selecting programs, setting parameters, and configuring tools
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes for drilling, milling, and other machining tasks according to defined specifications and work instructions
Perform test runs on CNC machinery and adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to meet dimensional specifications and quality standards
Inspect and measure finished products using precision measurement tools
Maintain accurate job logs, routers, and related documentation
Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance with safety standards
