High school diploma, technical school diploma or equivalent
Experience with manual machining, fabrication and tool development
Strong knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to use precision measurement instruments (micrometer, Vernier calipers, pin gages)
Ability to read and interpret documents including specifications, drawings, work instructions, safety rules, procedures, manuals, and MSDSs
Ability to read blueprints is a must

Document inspection results by completing required reports/logs
Inspect and release products for shipping by ensuring proper documentation or certifications are provided as outlined by customer requirements
Generate and summarize non-conforming reports for discrepant product
Lead and train Level I inspectors as needed to increase performance
Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and identify and address issues with equipment that may need repair
Operate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment
Visual inspection of product according to customer requirements
Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, steel rulers, pin gages, surface plate, and height gage
Identify and quarantine all non-conforming product
