Ability to travel up to 75% within assigned territory
Excellent customer service and communication skills
On-site installation, repair, calibration, testing, and maintenance of electron microscopy systems
Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field OR equivalent combination of education and technical experience
Strong electronics and mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose issues to the component level
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
Experience diagnosing and repairing ultra-high vacuum systems and high voltage equipment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, to resolve service issues
Valid driver's license required
3+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating complex analytical instrumentation such as SEM, TEM, FIB, Ion Beam&focusarea;=Search All, or similar systems
Ability to effectively train customers on equipment operation and maintenance
Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electronic, vacuum, and software-related system issues
