Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; in lieu of formal education, at least 4 years of relevant professional experience and technical training in areas such as repair contracting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and facility operations
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in facility maintenance or related technical fields
Demonstrated experience in construction, general contracting, or facility renovation projects
Strong technical expertise across core trades, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Familiarity with Joint Commission standards, including survey preparation and compliance support
Proficiency with CMMS or web-based work order systems (e.g., TELS, Fiix, Procore, or similar platforms)
Ability to reside within a reasonable commuting distance to ensure consistent on-site leadership and timely response

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction project management, or architecture in lieu of degree
An associate's degree or 2-years of construction trade school plus at least 1-year of relevant construction field experience
Or a high school diploma/GED plus 3-years of relevant construction field experience
OSHA 10-hour card or ability to obtain it upon hire
Must be willing to travel and provide on-site support for projects across the US (if necessary). Travel may be for extended periods of time
Must be able to work second-shift for extended periods of time and weekends as needed
Must be able to work full-time on construction project site
Must have independent means of transportation to the project jobsite
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle
Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
Advanced knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be able to use best judgment in critical decision making
Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products
Must be physically capable of performing the essential functions of this position, including walking for long distances, lifting up to 50 lbs, and climbing ladders & scaffoldings
Possession of a Federal Security Clearance (HSPD-12 minimum) or eligibility to obtain one
