Strong ability to interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Advanced expertise with digital estimating programs and the ability to complete detailed and accurate takeoffs efficiently
Advanced skills in Excel spreadsheet development and data analysis, including formatting functions, formula development, and graphing
In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
Advanced understanding of all trades, from foundation to finish
A dynamic, collaborative personality to work closely with project managers to execute high-quality projects
Five years of field experience preferred before moving into estimating roles
A Bachelor's degree in construction management is welcomed but not required
