High school diploma OR equivalent (GED) required
At least 5 years of comparable work related experience in residential construction projects with moderate knowledge related to all disciplines and phases of construction
Reads and writes English as demonstrated by clear and concise written and verbal communications
Ability to perform computer applications such as Unifier (I-BEAM), ProCore, and Blue Beam. Ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Excel
Possesses strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, organize, collaborate, and manage workloads
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of personalities, ability to keep calm under pressure, ability to communicate effectively and ability to multitask
Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills
Understands all aspects of the plans documentation package
Exhibits familiarity with building codes and local jurisdiction policies and procedures
Enforces safe work practices and safe working conditions in accordance with all municipal, state and federal regulations. Ensures compliance with AvalonBay safety and health program requirements and project specific Safety and Health Plan
