Incoming Quality Inspector
Inspect incoming materials, mechanical components, assemblies, and electronic parts to ensure they meet AS9100 quality standards.
Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators, SmartScope, CMM, and other precision measurement tools.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and GD&T; requirements.
Verify Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), material certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and traceability.
Document inspection results and generate quality records to support compliance and audits.
Identify and report non-conforming materials through the NCR process and partner with Quality, Engineering, and Purchasing teams on resolutions.
Inspect electronic and soldered assemblies to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 standards (if qualified).
Maintain organized quarantine areas and support internal and external audits.
Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or aerospace environment
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T;

Applicable valid driver's license as required by local authorities
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements
Ability to obtain jet bridge certification
Must have the ability to pass the US Postal Service background check
Lift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft's, bag carts, and conveyor belts
Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraft
Drive and operate belt loaders
Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning
Tow and pushback aircraft from gates
Service aircraft lavatories and water ports
Clean interior of aircraft when needed
Position beverage and luggage carts around the ramp area
Works outdoors in various weather conditions
Work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and holidays
Adhere to government regulations (e.g., DOT, FAA, TSA)
Wear uniforms as required by company policy
Wear all personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with rules and regulations
Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes
