Working Conditions: The Maintenance mechanic works both inside and outside and is frequently exposed to drafts, changing temperatures and noise. Physical Effort: Maintenance Mechanics work in tiring and uncomfortable positions requiring frequent bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, and crouching. Often works on top and under vehicles in cramped positions; performs strenuous work.
