The role will also necessitate the employee to lift heavy components (up to 40Lbs) as needed.
As required, some work will take place in an ISO clean room. Head to toe ISO cleanroom attire is required which will be provided by SMC.
Work in a team environment for an increased productivity and quality.
Minimum 2 years of prior experience needed.
Some areas may require person to have sustained posture in a seated position for prolonged periods while doing the assembly work
EPA 608 certification is required for the handling of refrigerants. SMC will provide on the job training for this certification.
The production facility is temperature controlled, the work environment may expose employees to noise, heat, open flame, cold, dust, lubricants and/or solvents.
The physical demands of this position require the employee to stand, walk, and use their hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with their hands and arms.
Communication: Must be able to read/write/speak and understand English. Must be able to effectively communicate.
Basic computer and math skills.
Detail-oriented.
The person is frequently required to climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch or crawl.
Must be able to hear and talk.

Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher.
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Minimum three (3) months of previous experience of operating production machinery.
Working 8-10-hour shifts, overtime, extended hours, weekend, holidays (as needed), and short notice shift coverage.
Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process.
