Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Minimum of five (5) plus years of relevant welding and inspection experience or equivalent training and experience
Valid CWI certification issued by AWS
Must maintain and renew certification with AWS, through continuing education and certification testing
Able to read and interpret welding drawings, weld symbols, weld process specifications, and any other relevant contractual documents

Must be able to identify and measure material using tape measure and calipers.
Proven experience in aluminum welding and other metal welding methods is required
Ability to use weld fillet gauges to ensure proper weld size and interpret tolerances.
Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals.
Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to perform simple shop math, convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
5-7 years minimum experience required.
