Certification in clinical laboratory sciences by a recognized certifying agency
Must maintain certification status in compliance with specifications for continuing education required by the certification agency
Successful completion of a structured clinical program (CAHEA approved)
At least three (3) years of experience in Microbiology
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or an appropriate biological/chemical/medical science from an accredited college or university
Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required
