Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications in a specific area of a production line in a manufacturing organization.
Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
Basic hand tool use required (pipe wrench, end wrench, level, tape measure etc.)
Performing basic welding
Maintain inventory of product in work stations
Perform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standards
Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area

Mechanical Designer

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
2 to 5 years in mechanical design
Experience involving rotating equipment such as reciprocating or screw compressors, pumps, or generators
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and preferably experience with SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software
Ability to operate independently with sound judgment under fast-paced conditions
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Engaging in prototyping phases, testing protocols, and production line setup to validate designs
Preparing and communicating clear Bills of Materials (BOM) and detailed specifications
Delivering ongoing technical support to assembly, production, and quality control teams
Collaborating closely with shop floor personnel to verify that final products meet design criteria and customer expectations
Adhering strictly to the SafeStart safety training process consistent with OSHA regulations
Travel as necessary (daytime and overnight) to support off-site activities
