Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a minimum of 5 years related aviation / aircraft experience and/or training.
Government background check through the US Marshals and DOT drug screen is required.
Must have an airframe and powerplant (A&P;) license.
High school diploma or general education degree GED required.
Must be comfortable exercising the full privilege of A&P license.
Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
Occasionally: Lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull <50>
Use FAA approved data i.e. IPC, M M, OHM, SRM proficiently.
Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull 20', and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights ≥4', working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts.

Basic ability to gather data, write reports, and present findings.
Becomes familiar and complies with Company procedures and policies as provided in Employee Handbook, Quality Manual, Safety Manual and or Official Postings.
Associate degree or equivalent Mechanic Certification from two-year college or technical school in related field and 3 years minimum related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must travel up to 50% as required and/or directed.
Basic/entry level knowledge of mechanical elements/systems.
Basic knowledge of troubleshooting/root cause analysis of mechanical systems.
