Assemble breath guard components and finished products according to blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and verbal direction
Perform TIG welding on materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
Assist with training and mentoring less experienced operators as needed
A Welding Test must be taken
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction
Identify defects, troubleshooting issues, and escalate concerns to the lead or supervisor
Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Inspect components and finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and quality standards
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
Accurately complete production documentation, including materials used, labor tracking, and quality checks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S standards
Operate within a manufacturing cell environment to meet daily production, quality, and delivery targets
Fabricate components by cutting, shaping, fitting, and joining metal parts to specification
Utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and light machinery safely and effectively
Actively supports a culture of safety, accountability, and respect
Collaborate with team members, leaders, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and on-time completion
